because she doesn't like all the other cats' poop in the litter box. I have a cat like that. I have two litter boxes, adn all 3 cats use the one box. When, Molly doesn't like too much poop in there from the other cats, she poops somewhere outside the box. One of my cats sometimes pees right next to the box. If it would stay clean all the time, my cats and your cats would prob never go outside of the box.
