To reset your Acer Aspire computer to its factory settings you'll need to have two things: an external D driver, and a Windows XP Fresh Install Bootable CD. If you don't have the CD, you can download it from the internet and burn it unto a blank CD on your external driver (make sure it's a CD-DVD recorder).
Once you have the external CD driver connected to the computer with the Boot CD inside, turn on your computer. When your computer turn on it should automatically start the CD and then all you just follow the orders on the screen.
Remember that any and all data on your computer (the operating system, files, applications, drivers for cameras, printers, etc.) will be erased from your computer. So you'll need to first backup everything you don't want to lose, and get an Install CD of your operating system, applications, etc. to use once your computer has been reset.
