    @ Poppy, any population counts recorded (and posted as an answer here) can only come from the most recent official census done in that country. Anything else is just an estimate and not a true answer.

    Of course. country bumpkin being correct then - me being wrong as it was a guestamate - although it says approximately this number on 17th Sept. 2012. but not the census - Largest growing population in England.
