On the XPS, the lugs integrate seamlessly into the mid-case of the watch. There is a slight flattened step unlike on last year’s L.U.C 1860 (which had a very smooth and elegant appearance). That flat ridge is more noticeable link from the top link than the side angle below but it link feels like a thoughtful way of showing that the case isn't just a cookie-cutter design.

This is the sort of dial that no doubt needs to be link appreciated in the metal to see its depth and how it works in a variety of lighting conditions. This link watch also represents a new collection of tourbillon watches for the brand. The tourbillon with its skeletonized bridges takes a prominent position at six o'clock just below the link hands.
