Kelvin is an absolute unit of measurment. 0 degrees Kelvin equates to -273.15 degrees Celcius or -459.67 degrees Fahrenheit. This point is known as absolute zero on the thermodynamic temperature scale....the temperature at which all thermal motion ceases in the classical description of thermodynamics. Thus (roughly) to find degress Kelvin from Celcius you calculate C + 273.15. To get Celcius from degrees Kelvin you calculate K - 273.15.
