Why cannot subversion of our Republic be exposed?

Why is the national news media immune to any mention of the Progressives (Regressives really) who who are dedicated to the weakening of America? Bush and OBAMAnation are both "Progressives. I was told by a wise man, in 1970 that a strong, independant U.S. would never give it's soveriegnty, and military power over to the U.N., but a weak, insecure U.S. will. Is this the reason for the piecemeal weakening of America? The Progressives consider themselves citizens of the world. They,ve been working for a world Gov't, with world army power for over a hundred years. Most of these "Progressives belong to the incidious, semi-secret Council on Foreign Relations and the Tri-Lateral Commission; which has their counterparts in other countries like the: Royal Inst for International Affairs - Indian Council of World Affairs - The Bilderburgers, etc. Why is this not news to the national news media? Oh, I remember; most all of them (the owners, editors, and major collumnists) are "Progressives and members too - as are most noted university proffessors.
