The female carries the young 15-18 months, the offspring, usually one, will nurse till age two, ...32%-50% will die the first year. At 15 he/she is an adult. The females will reproduce at this time, the male will wait till around 21.

The female reproduces once every five years, till age 40. She lives around 50 years, but have been known to live up to 90 years. The male live around 29, but have been found as old as 60.

They have no known enemies, Orca's are the bullies of the sea. They are super predators! Not whales at all, but a dolphin. They kill dolphins, and sperm whales, other whales. The live in pods, and hunt together. Nothing can stand up to them. They are called Blackfish, killer whales, Orcas, and  Grampus.

The largest one found was 32 feet.

Poor translation gave them the name whale, it was "Whale Killer"

    Now do your homework!
