      the vin number is usually on the drivers side of the dash right in front of the windshield. You will probably have to view it from the outside of your car.

        It's also often found on the inside of the driver's side door.  Your registration would be another place, and your insurance card.  YOU DO HAVE AN INSURANCE CARD, DON'T YOU????
