Charge the Kindle's battery by using the provided USB cable to plug the device into an electronic outlet.

Push the "Menu" button on the device and navigate to "Shop in Kindle Store."

Use the controller button to push "buy" to purchase and download the ebook. The book will be electronically delivered to your Kindle within 60 seconds.
