3. Bring plenty of (US) singles and five dollar bills. A $1 tip to your pool bartender and waitress goes a long way and they will REMEMBER YOU.

4. Don't, REPEAT DON'T Let the porters at the Punta Cana Airport take your bags when you arrive. This is a gimmick so you will tip them. They only need to take your bag 20 yards away and YOU CAN DO THAT ON YOUR OWN and save yourself money.

5. Have a pen at the ready. You need to fill out ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE forms. They will also hit you for $10 per person to do so. (Departure Tax)
