I want information about studying the body after death. How this person lived and what he/she ate and how we can tell where they lived.

Ed and chopped, I am laughing even harder on your responses now.

    I'm curious, for what purpose?

"""""" This should give you an idea.

uhmm.. i could only answer your first question. An autopsy report is done after the body has been subjected to analysis after death. Authorities who are experts to that are referred to as Pathologists. Incision is one of the process that they are authorized to do and examine certain organs that might have caused the defect.

Who do you think we are? CSI? Criminal minds?

Well Ms.Colleen, if I dont ask a question I will never get an answer even one as cute as yours. Would love to be involved in CSI! Thanks, I needed that laugh.

    FORENSIC MEDICINE

A few years ago the torso of a child was recovered from the Thames in London. He was possibly the victim of human sacrifice. Analysis of his tissues showed he originated from an area in Africa .

This poor child's intestine was found to contain calabar beans which are used in voodoo ceremonies. His bones were analysed and contained radioactive isotopes which showed he came from Nigeria. He was dismembered and thrown into the Thames.

So that should answer the original question.
