that was the point of my question. We're all fakes instead of showing our quirks and oddities to all those that we don't know. Why is that ? that is my real question.
My initial thought is that people want to be liked and accepted by "everyone". Most of us know how to be on our "best behavior" when we meet people for the first time. The ruse is hard to maintain over the course of time. Why would we care about how someone we've never met receives us is a good question; perhaps we want to establish more relationships?
I like to think that I am pretty much who I am at all times, but I know that's not true. Here, I write what I think and feel, no faking anything. You may notice quirks and oddities about me right off. :)
