Can you give me a source of information about State Auto and Casualty Underwriters, a company for which I once was employed
The company was "absorbed," if you will, by United Fire and Casualty in the mid 1990's. It was a part of the Statesman Group and was headquartered in downtown Des Moines. I;m trying to put together for my own use a history of the company as it was an unusual organization.
It started "life" in 1919 as State Auto Insurance Association and was a reciprocal for its entire existence to the best of my knowledge.
