It is Medical condition, in which the number of red blood cells is low and a person is said to be anemic, having low blood count.

it's no joke.  If you think you may be anemic, see a doctor.  I almost died from it.  My count was so low that my doctor wanted to hospitalize me. You could die from heart attack if your count is too low.  My lowest...6.2 (Normal is 12 and up).   Nurses asked me how is that I am able to walk around. 

You can't assimilate food into your bloodstream without iron.  You will just poop more.

Iron deficiency.

It describes a condition in which the number of red blood cells in the blood is low.  If your hemoglobin reading is lower than 12, you are anemic.
