    my sons funeral

    my sons funeral is to be held soon, there are certain family members that are not welcome is there anything that can be done to stop them attending legally

    Someone's death is not the time to try to control people in your family. How would you feel if someone blocked you from seeing a family member?
    Having said that, you can have a private ceremony with only those who you want. Give them a special invitation. Hire security to check to see if the arrivals have the invitation. If not, they won't get in. But, I hope you have a change of heart.
    You can ask not to attend out of respect for your son, you and your family. But, legally I don't think there's much. You'd need to speak to the funeral home or an attorney to make sure. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!
    the reason they are being asked not to come is because they have never had anything to do with my son even when he was in hospital two years ago they never bothered and even made fun of him calling him a spastic thanks for the answer maybe i should have explained more fully
