I have a hard time staying mad at someone so forgetting is easy for me, but if someone hurts me enough I simply remove myself from any situation that puts me in contact with person. If I have to be in the same room with someone I simply ignore them. I haven't held a conversation with my brother in law for 50 years. luclily my family is loud and noisy so one notices but him and he knows the reason. Also I am a big believer in Karma. You may have to wait a loonngg tiime but people get what they give.
No reason to worry myself or anyone else about it, I won't give up my power over my own life to anyone over some hurt or anger,
