We here at akaqa do not lie and that's the truth!

People lie for the most part because they have insecurities about themselves, they think that people will accept them if they make their life appear more interesting than they think it is.. (white lies)

Other people lie because they are afraid of telling the truth and getting into trougle, problem with this lie is sooner or later, the truth comes out and they are in more trouble for lying about it.

The difference between a lie and the truth is--"You don't need to memorize the truth'.

    Self preservation?

To be a good liar, one needs a long memory....

It fits their agenda  for what ever reason

People lie for either of just two reasons:

To gain power or benefit through deception; and/or

To evade the consquences of their actions.

Lies distort reality and create an unreality that others have to live with. Consequently the world gets mired in unreal perception. This, at the individual level  is the central feature of the definition of mental illness. At the broader level it is the cause of most if not all of the woes of humanity throughout history.

Have you noticed almost everyone here uses a usernames, so no reason to be truthful.

    It's fun to lie.

1st Whom decides what is the Truth & what is a Lie?  My Truth might be Your Lie & vice versa.   Then there's combinations of Truth & Lies.  That can be 50/50 or combinations like 60/40, 70/30 & so on.  In other words Lies & Truths are based on Your Personal Preception(s) of Reality!  As for Little White Lies I've told those for others & had several of them come back onto Me, making Me end up looking like the Bad Guy, when I would have never told a Lie for Myself.  So when You Lie for someone else You take a risk that it will fall apart & make You look like the Bad Guy.  So think long & hard before You decide to Lie for someone else!  My best advice is don't do it.  Even if there's nothing for You to gain out of it!  Either tell the truth, or say nothing!

You say: "1st Whom decides what is the Truth & what is a Lie? My Truth might be Your Lie & vice versa. "

It is not a matter of personal decision whether a rock is hard or not. If it is raining, there is little merit in claiming it isn't. Walk without your umbrella if you wish but do not try to fool others with false claims. We recognise and acknowledge a 'truth' simply because it is a reality. It is exactly the same for you and I, indeed it remains true whether you or I exist at all.

This business of 'My Truth' and 'your truth' is simply dissembling which is the prime weapon of the liar, the feminist and the Devil. Find a better way of thinking.
