You probably downloaded something and didn't read every window that popped up. Games and programs usually have a sponsor ; Bing,Google Chrome,Inbox , etc. and when you are downloading each step asks you a question; where to store the program, do you want a shortcut added to your desk top?, would you like to install Bing as your browser?....and so on. You just checked yes like most people do . Read the steps when you are downloading programs you will get alot of stuff on your computer including viruses,if your not careful.
