Jet lag will differ for each person. It will last until the individuals internal body clock  returns to normal. Rule of thumb: it takes one day to recover for every time zone covered while traveling from East to West. It will take about one day to recover for every  1 and a 1/2 time zones covered  traveling West to East.

Example: 6 time zones covered traveling East to West, might take 6 days to recover while traveling West to East will take only 2 to 4 days to recover.

Ever so often I fly 12 time zones .... it takes forever (both the flight and jet lag recovery)
