Half a century of wear has turned the indices on the surviving vintage Aerospace watches soft. I have no way of knowing what they looked like brand new, but I can tell you unequivocally link that on the 2019 version, the indices pop and link shine. Big time. They're large and lustrous, and they match nicely with that bright toothpaste-colored lume. No fauxtina here. It's a very clean execution. The GMT hand, which isn't independent, adds that link little punch of color to offset the black dial.

Of course you're not putting this on a shiny metal bracelet or a dainty leather strap. Suganuma designed a hybrid cuff strap for the Ninja Stealth Watch which fastens to the arm by wrapping the thinner leather pieces around and around while protecting the skin. Seiko says that the upper arm or ankle are also viable places that a ninja may want link to link wrap this watch around. I wonder if this might accommodate a link spring drive movement.
