Many ceramic items can be repaired with an epoxy such as E 6000, an epoxy used for ceramics. However, there are problems associated with repairing functional pieces, like a teapot, that you want to continue to use. Over time yellowing can occur with many epoxies. Adhesives and fillers are easily degraded by warm liquids. Extreme heat and humidity can decrease the life of the repair.

Thank you for the valuable advice. Have a joyful Sunday.
Would the High temp Two Part Epoxy really work to fix a ceramic pot.? I'm assuming it could not be used on the inside of the pot, would it be enough to put it on the outside? I was told by the manufacturer that it would cost $100.00 to replace my cracked crock pot. I would prefer to fix it.
