      I have a feeling you shouldn't confuse the two.  One is doused on stuff to make the stuff ignite.  The other is slowly dispensed through the container to allow for a controlled flame.  I don't think the stove fuel is in liquid form, either.

        I suspect it is very close to the same thing, but considering the fact you are playing with fire, I would get the proper lighter fluid.
