My son, his wife, and our grandaughter are moving to Australia after they visit us in California. Do you have any “inside” stuff on Australia?
They are moving to Gladstone in the province of Queensland. Their new house will be about a quarter of the size of the house they left. (I believe) I will let you know.

What are some of the ways you save water? We’re in a drought now and I suspect more problems will come about.

Itsmee.. stay in touch.Inside stuff on Australia? I've got the lot! Anything specific? Gladstone is not to badly off as far as water goes except in drought.When there is a drought we save water by showering for 4 minutes only whenever possible.

We drive on the other side of the road & gasoline is approx twice the price over here & you buy it by the litre,not by the gallon.
Grocery items,meat & produce are sold by the Kilo.(Approx 2.2 Lbs.)
They will need plenty of 30 + sunscreen even in winter.Gladstone enjoys a fairly moderate sub-tropical climate but the sun can burn you.

Thanks, dear friend, Tommy: My family will be here tomorrow night or the next day. Our son sounds exhausted. He’s been in the car with his wife, daughter, and big dog for a couple of week. The family THAT close together after a long absence is quite a thrill. (He was in Peru over halp the time for a couple of years.0
