      Saffron is crocus stigmas which are dried  and this why they are exspensive they are used in foods to colour

        Thanks Pamela I got it out of the dictionary though I did know most of it as there was documentry about it a couple of weeks ago lolove oxoxox

        Saffron is an expensive spice. It is also a name for a certain shade of yellow.
