If your computer has an sd card reader built into it, insert the sd card (or chip as you call it) into the slot on your computer. If your computer does not have an sd card slot then connect your camera (with the sd card still in it) to your computer via the usb cord that came with your camera. If your camera does not require a disc to be run first to download a camera package to your computer, then once connected to your computer with the usb cable, a window or box should appear on your computer screen with prompts as to what to do next.
