    I clicked on the font size button but nothing happened. I need help and cannot get help

    Click the gear symbol far right side near the top. Change the look of your gmail. Try cozy or comfortable.

      press down central key  at the same time turn mouse wheel backward to increase or fore ward to decrees size.    Central key location lower left corner on key pad.
