you can try to connect your ipod with the USB-cable then go to my comptuer and select the apple ipod map then whatever you do KEEP THE IPOD ACTIVE don't let the screen go black or you can start over again then copy+paste the mp-3 folders into your ipod map and if your'e lucky this might work
(only did it once myself not certain of answer)
