I've heard that if it's a family member such as a child (don't know whether that's exclusive) that a court can overrule your religious beliefs to save that relative's life. Also don't know if that's always the case either but I've heard of it happening.

Sounds like hypocrisy in that the person beleaves in god (love/helping others etc.) but falls back on a different page to not love or help. Their god will judge their judgments I suppose?

That is in our Bill of Rights, part of the First One- "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances". A state or government superior court may issue an individual order on a specific situation over ruling what many may say infringes on their freedom of Religion. This rarely happens however.

I AM A SOUTHERN BAPTIST THAT BELIEVES IN GOD AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE THIS IS NOT IN CHRISTIAN RELIGION I HAD A TUBAL PREGNANCY YEARS AGO AND HAD TO TAKE 6 UNITS OF BLOOD OR I WOULD HAVE DIED AND I DID NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT IT OR WONDER IF GOD WOULD WANT ME TO TAKE THE BLOOD THAT IS HOW GOD WORKS HIS HEALING POWERS HERE ON EARTH THRU HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE
