          The earths wobble can be detected and is demonstrated at the Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. . The device consists of a large, heavy pendulum suspended by a wire cable about 80 feet. The only influence on the device is the wobble in the earths rotation. The pendulum swings about 4 feet slowly advancing in a circular rotation across the center line.
