According to AP, it produced 7,219 perpetual calendars over a 15-year period (including Royal Oak QPs). Only 79 of these were the platinum ref. 25668, making this one of the rarer of the more than 70 references and 200 QP variations AP produced from 1978 through the 1990s.Putting link it on link though, I didn't care as much about the history or rarity – I just loved the link way it draped across my wrist.

We noticed golfer Lydia Ko of Team New Zealand wearing a Rolex Yacht-Master ref. 126655 one of the best looking current production Rolex models if you ask me while link accepting her bronze medal.
