    Is it against the law to date some one who is older then 18 if you are under 18?

    No. Dating isn't covered by the law anywhere I know of. Sex is something else, and the age of consent varies from country to country. If that is the sort of dating you mean, check what it is where you live... and beware older guys anyway. If you are 16 & he's 19 you're probably okay, but steer clear of anyone over 20 until you're sure you can handle the sort of relationship a man might expect.

    In the US, some states consider 16 yrs of age to be under the age of consent. Best to check the laws where you live Woods.

    In a few countries the age of consent is as low as 14. Unless things have changed, it's 18 in some States. The question was only about dating BUT... she does need to check.
