      If someone's car crashed into your home, who would you expect to be responsible for removing it and paying for repairs?


      Let's say the car was stolen and the person driving it had no connection to the owner. 


      Isn't this what insurance is for.....although the "act of God" clause is going to cause problems, depending on how the tree got into the wrong yard in the first place.

        The owner of the tree is responsible for removal and repair, unless they have insurance to do it for them.
