"Colloquial' The language of a given dialect. All based on a prime language like English which has many derivatives. I find it difficult to understand some dialects from the UK where I am sure they have trouble understanding me, I have trouble even understanding some 'ruptured' English here in the USA of different locations. Cajun English is very difficult to understand for me. I can understand some southern as I have roots in the midwest which is a 'language line' There we hear a mixed degree of the language.
