wrong answer pure H2O is not conductive
Yes but the question did not state pure water.I am not positive,but I believe pure water does not exist naturally.

no water is H2O, not an electrical conductor. Mix a pinch of salt or a little vinegar and it will conduct electricity quite well. Tap water that has been “softened” is very conductive electrically. The rock salt the water is flushed through may make the laundry come out better however.
