You can give him an eviction order to move out.  The time allowed for such notice is usually 30 or 60 days.  At the end of the notice if he has not moved out, you can file an eviction order with a local court.  Don't  take the law into your hand!

 If you were my tenant, you'd be living under this rock. How dare you not pay rent. The Landlord has expenses too, you know.

Any grub who was renting a property from me and got "A few months behind" would have need to be worried.

How is it that tennants feel they can do as they please regard the rental property but the landlord has to run out and fix a dripping tap for a tennant who is in arrears.
You signed a legal document of agreement ie: the lease and if you do not abide by that agreement what would you do if it were your property.
You pay to go to watch a film but you can`t stay after the movie is finished.
You hire a cab but you can`t stay in the cab forever without paying.
If it is you personaly "a few months behind" get out.
Sorry Mr Bank Manager I can`t pay my loan as my tennant is "a few months behind"
