My fondest memory of his watch link is far more recent. A few years ago, after I started working at HODINKEE, we were talking about different watches and what makes link one more durable than the other. He pulled out his Gulfman and a rush of memories came flooding in – all of a sudden I recognized the watch that had been part of link my life for so long, without me even realizing it.
