How do you know if you require more testosterone or progesterone? And what is the difference? Also, is it harmful if you don't require either?

Progesterone is a female hormone important for the regulation of ovulation and menstruation.

Testosterone is a hormone made by the body. It helps stimulate and maintain sexual function, maintain bone strength and more

There are tests to determine if the hormone levels in your body are adequate, and replacement therapy is available. Replacement therapy is regulated by your physician and comes with its own set of problems.

It you "don't require either", I would presume your levels are within normal range.  This is something you ask your doctor for further explanation.
