      If you can not find a way to pay off your debt, you will never be credit worthy. You have to pay off the debt first. Paying off the debt will help your credit. Paying more than the minimum amount due monthly will help to pay off the debt faster and lets your debtor know you are serious about clearing the debt which also works to your favor.
