Real honest to goodness talent.

I tried playing the guitar for about three years. I just went nowhere no matter how much I practiced. It wasn't until I went to sell my good guitar that I found out the problem. It was too big for me. My fingers couldn't reach the chords. So ... even with all the other stuff in place I'd never be able to play. Find out if your instrument is the right size for you. I wish you music people the best. Practice and Practice some more like metal face says.

Talent helps but if you have sufficient passion, you'll go far. My class of preschoolers loved my real  bad playing. They sang. They danced. They clapped.
