      There are 196 countries in the world today. Taiwan is not considered an official country by many, which would bring the count down to 195 countries. Although Taiwan operates as an independent country, many countries (including the U.S.) do not officially recognize it as one.

        Above, I'm demonstrating the ratcheting extension clasp. This is a 3.5mm link wetsuit, and it easily accommodates it, plus my glove on top of that. That action is smooth, although sometimes during link normal open-close operation, link the diver's extension will extend unintentionally.
