how to estimate house construction costs?
we are near 70 living in a bi-level house. the stairs are killing our knees. We want to move to a one level house with basement. Most houses of that type are older and need much repair and remodeling. Ready buildt homes can cost over 100k, and we have to build a baseemnt and install plumbing. Would building a new ranch style house be cheaper?
