I'm currently living 30 yards from the Kure Beach NC surf in a waterfront condo till we close on our new home March 31st. The moonrise over the water was unbelievably beautiful last night.

Not visible in San Diego. But Friday evening I saw it.

The moon was 15% bigger last night. The last time this happened was 20 years ago.

according to wikipedi, the last supermoon occured on January 30, 2010

You could be correct though as I've heard others say they only occur every 18 years or so.
