    Baking soda and water, mix into a paste and put on the sting spot. It will draw out the stinger. Apply ammonia *better, "Spirits of) to the sting.  Good for wasp stings, too

    You're right! The baking soda paste does work to calm the pain. And some say it takes out the stinger. Ice on the area can help too.

    Heard that an onion will take out the stinger. You have to cut it in half, and use the cut  side to hold it against the area.
