Hi there jhharlan....I've been around since last February but had to take some time off due to health issues....but, I'm ba-a-a-ack!! I've noticed you also as I've liked many of your answers...you too have a "dry" sense of humor like my own...(:

I lost one parakeet on the ride to my mother's. I think the stress was too much for him. Other than that, all the other birds did great and the dogs behaved well. We are all happy to be home. Spent all day yesterday getting the yards cleaned up of the downed limbs and getting all the stored items back out of the garage and basement. My yards are back to normal now and I'm very thankful the hurricane did not hit my area hard. 50 mph winds and some rain was the extent of it according to my neighbors. My thoughts go out to the people of Vermont. They got the worst of it.
