I doubt it. If the party is federal then the government would be establishing a preference of a particular religion which violates the first amendment and the establishment clause. Contrary to what most people think you cannot keep religion out of politics because people are spiritual creatures and use their religion in order to make decisions that affect their lives. However, we are a secular government and as such can't allow the formation of a national religion. That would be sectarian which would cause conflict.
