I could be wrong, but I don't think so. The states listed are miles from the Canadian border. I've never heard of armadillos in Canada. I think that Ontario Armadillo may be a "certain kind" of that animal?
I checked several sites and they swore to armadillos being there. I don't know, we have plenty here in Texas and they seem to be clever enough to travel..........
I don't think they could survive temperatures that are below zero. There is no place in Canada that I'm aware of that never reaches such a temp. (You're driving me to google.)
Okay, I'll side with you but I did find evidence of them in Ontario. And you and I both know you can ALWAYS trust the internet.......lol
I live only 20 miles from the southern most tip of Ontario, and I've never heard of Armadillos being anywhere but in the S.W. And I've been to Ontario hundreds of times.
I don't think Ontario has Armadillo's. I think it is to cool for them up in Canada. But I could be wrong. http://www.abcwildlife.com/raccoon_control.html
