Well when you buy a mobile phone it's normally locked to a certain network,,like my phone was sold compatible for vodafone so it only recognises a vodafone sim card but i took it to the local phone shop n he plugged it into his laptop n unlocked it so now it'll work with any network ~ it's been unlocked,cost me a tenner.
