In an interview with Monochrome, Philipp chronicled how he arrived at the helm of Fortis, saying that "a couple of years ago, link I read in the newspaper that Fortis had cash problems and said link to my wife as a joke, 'let’s buy Fortis.' Any student who has been accepted or is currently studying at a link full-time watchmaking school in the United States and is a veteran is eligible for the Andre Bibeau Scholarship. Prospective students may also apply link with the understanding that the scholarship is link contingent on their enrollment at a full-time watchmaking school.
