If it was my child I certainly would be concerned. I guess for starters ask your child's Doctor to rule out any physical conditions. Once that is ruled out then you should have your child see a child Psychiatrist.

Please try and get to the bottom of this.

Rejoice, your son is alive and full of life.   Don't make a big deal of it or it could be worse.  Just act normally when around him.  he'll grow out of this for sure, soon.

Look up encorpresis. 

take him to a medical doctor first! If he can not find a reason, take him to a psychologist. Something is terrible wrong.

Probably not too serious a problem.depending on how often it happens.If it is for every bowel movement I would suggest that it is a matter of persistant training.
