    0 is less. If you are subtracting a negative number, you are actually decreasing the amount of the negativity.   For example 13 - (-3) means to NOT take 3 away from 13; consequently, we ADD 3 to 13 and get 16.


    Based on this logic, -(-3) actually means +3, which is greater than 0.
